About
Cymatic Harmony

My Story

“Rock bottom became the solid foundation in which I rebuilt my life” – JK Rowling

Cymatic Harmony emerged from the depths of addiction, where amidst the shadows of despair, invaluable lessons in courage, discovery, resilience, and growth were unearthed.

As the owner and founder, Dan Byrne embarked on a transformative journey within the confines of a residential rehabilitation center. There, surrounded by the environment of self-exploration and communal support, he delved into modalities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing.

In 2018, confronted with the stark realities of an unmanageable life Balancing on the edge of incarceration, institutionalization, or worse, Dan resolved to embrace the path of recovery. Amidst the tumult of rehabilitation, a pivotal moment unfolded when he encountered the Handpan—an instrument that became his conduit to meditation, mindfulness, and profound self-connection.

With the dawn of 2019, Cymatic Harmony was born, initially conceived to spread the resonance of handpans across the globe. Yet, Dan’s vision swiftly expanded as he uncovered the therapeutic potential of diverse instruments, leading him to share the healing essence of sound in yoga studios, markets, and beyond.

Today, Cymatic Harmony stands as a beacon of holistic wellness, offering a myriad of services ranging from breathwork to transformative sound healing experiences and adventurous retreats.

Dan’s journey has taken him to diverse corners of the globe, where he has lent his talents and held sacred space at wellness retreats, music festivals, fringe events, weddings, corporate gatherings, and fashion showcases. Additionally, Cymatic Harmony fosters community through an array of workshops and gatherings, including free communal events, family mindfulness sessions, serene forest and beach retreats, and captivating handpan concerts. Dan ardently believes in the transformative power of collaboration, recognizing its potential to magnify the impact of healing vibrations on all who partake.
